Federal law institutes the National Day of Spiritism in Brazil

Originating from Bill No. 3,789, of 2019, authored by Senator Eduardo Girão, Law No. 14,354/22, which establishes the National Day of Spiritism, to be celebrated annually on the day April 18th. The date chosen is a tribute to the launch day of the work "The Spirits' Book", by Allan Kardec, which took place in Paris on April 18, 1857. A special article on the subject is one of the highlights of this edition.

Another highlight is the interview given to us by the spiritist scholar Ricardo Orestes Forni, from Tupã (SP). He is a physician who participates in the spiritist activities of the Allan Kardec Spiritist Union, in his city, and is the author of several spiritist books and an assiduous contributor to periodicals such as the newspaper “O Imortal” and the magazine O Consolador. In the interview, he tells us, among other things, about his adherence to Spiritism.

In the special entitled “Jesus asked: And you, who do you say I am?”, Juan Carlos Orozco, from Brasília (DF), makes several considerations about Jesus and his importance for all of us who inhabit the Earth, of which he is the governor, as well as a guide, model and example of the moral perfection to which Humanity can aspire on Earth. The article is also one of the highlights of this issue.
