Letter to the reader

Year 15 - 752- December 19, 2021

“Lessons for yesterday, today and tomorrow” is the new production of EVOC

The e-book Lessons for Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow was published on the last 16th by EVOC, the virtual editor of our magazine, by Astolfo O. de Oliveira Filho. Comprised of 60 chapters, the book focuses on current issues that attract the interest of both spiritists and non-spiritists, such as, for example, the presence of God in our lives, the importance of forgiveness, the situation of people after death and the purpose of reincarnation, all of them examined in the light of the spiritist doctrine, whose lessons are timeless, that is, they are valid at any time, thus justifying the title that the author gave to the book.

Gustavo Silveira Marques, Minas Gerais from Araxá, now living in Uberlândia (MG), is our interviewee. With a Master's Degree in Computer Science, he works as a systems analyst and, in the spiritist field, collaborates with two institutions – Spiritist Group Léon Denis and Spiritist Centre Apostle Paulo, both located in the city where he lives. In the interview which he gave, he tells us about the literary meaning of Emmanuel's work and its importance for all of us.

In this edition we publish the final part of the Special entitled “Wouldn't there be animals in the spiritual world?”, authored by the spiritist scholar Leonardo Marmo Moreira. The question examined divides, as it is known, opinions among Spiritism scholars, although well-known authors, such as André Luiz, Cairbar Schutel and Ernesto Bozzano, have dealt with the subject in a clear and objective manner, without leaving any doubts.
