Ênio Wendling, a legacy of examples as a person and as a medium

Marilda do Carmo Boareto Lima, from Belo Horizonte (MG), where she was born, is our interviewee today. Aesthetic technician, now retired, she participates in spiritist activities as a volunteer at the Brotherhood Spiritist Brother Glacus (FEIG), in her city. In her journey as a spiritist worker, she lived with the medium Ênio Wendling, about whom she talks to us with great affection in the interview. The article is one of the highlights of this edition.

Another highlight of the week is the final part of the Special “Teaching of Spiritism: A Language for the 21st Century”, by Ely Matos and Ricardo Baesso de Oliveira, participants of the Spiritist movement in Juiz de Fora (MG). The first part of the article was published last week. Ricardo Baesso de Oliveira, in addition to being a columnist, is a member of the Editorial Board of this magazine.

On a day like today - November 14th - the first public demonstrations of the mediumistic faculties of the Fox sisters took place in 1849, who were the mediums that in the year before that, in Hydesville, starred in the phenomena that gave rise to modern Spiritism. The event took place at the Corinthian Hall, in Rochester (USA), as shown by Thiago Bernardes in a special article.
