Why the disrepute of the work Paulo and Estêvão in the spiritist environment itself?

The question above is one of the points highlighted in the article of the professor André Ricardo de Souza, PhD in sociology by the University of São Paulo and second associated professor of the Sociology Department of the Federal University of São Carlos. He wrote about the known work that Emmanuel wrote about the Apostle of the Gentiles by the hands of Chico Xavier. It is called Is it true the narrated story in the book Paulo and Estevão?, the article has been divided in three parts. Its first part is one of the spots of the current edition. The other parts will be published in the next two magazine’s edition.
