Letter to the reader

Year 14 - 707 - February 7, 2021

The evil gets tired and exhausted, while the good strengthens itself

The sentence above belongs to the article “The action of good over the last move of the shadows”, written by Cláudio Bueno da Silva, one of many collaborators of this magazine, who reminds us that the Humankind history shows clearly that the Earth has always been a land of belligerence. It is still a really late planet, our orb greets heterogeneous Spirits according to the development and mostly imperfect, whose, due to it, they are the main character to a long fight to demand their will above others, using strength in general. The article is one of the highlights of this edition.

Other spot is the interview given to us by the teacher Darcy Neves Moreira, that besides her activities as speaker and coordinator of mediumship meetings at the Spirit Centre Jorge Niemeyer, in Vila Isabel, Rio de Janeiro, she participates in the collegiate board of the CEERJ – Spirit Board of the Rio de Janeiro State, as we know, it is the federal of the mentioned State. In the interview, among many other subjects, she tells us how it emerged the COMEERJ, initials which is known the Confraternization of Spiritist Youths of the State of Rio de Janeiro.

On a day like today, February 7, it disembodied at the age 24 in Natal (RN) the poet Auta de Souza. The year was 1901. She was born in Macaíba, Rio Grande do Norte, on September 12, 1876. She was orphan, her brother died tragically, a contagious disease, a heart breaking, plus her strong religiousness, took her to produce the singular poetic work – “Horto” – her only book, whose first edition was published a few months after her disincarnation. It is shown by Ana Moraes in a report which is also one of the spots of this issue.
