The neurophysiological bases of meditation and its benefits

This month AME-Brasil Editora is launching the book Meditation: doctor-spirit connections, the result of studies and research carried out by the psychiatrist Paulo Rogério Dalla Coletta de Aguiar. The work contains texts on the fundamentals of meditation from a spirit perspective, the neurophysiological bases of meditation and the scientific evidence of its health benefits, as shown by Giovana Campos in a special article, which is one of the highlights of this edition.

Another highlight is the interview that confrere Giovani Dias Guimarães gave to our collaborator Orson Peter Carrara. He was born and still lives in Igarapava (SP). He is an Information Technology Coordinator and, in the spirit activities, participates as a collaborator in the activities of the Spirit Centre Light, Charity and Love, in his city, acting in the regional spirit movement as president of the USE Intercity of Alta Mogiana.

"Are there so many consoling letters?" This question is the title and also the theme of the Special written by our collaborator Rogério Miguez, which reminds us of the work done by the late medium Chico Xavier, who, among so many ways to help others, reserved part of his time for newly disincarnated spirits could send comforting messages to their loved ones. The article is also one of the highlights of this week.
