Cairbar Schutel, a man ahead of his time

Our today’s interviewee is the educator Ana Beatriz Perche Bonini Baldan, who was born and lives in Sao Paulo in the city of Matão, where Cairbar Schutel, known as “Bandeirante do Espiritismo”, became acquainted with Spiritism and where he lived a large part of his life. In the interview, she gives details of the family life of her ancestors with the well-known and mentioned benefactor, with testimonials that confirm the spiritual greatness of the founder of the International Journal of Spiritism, who was, as we know, a man really ahead of his time.

“Humberto de Campos, Here and Hereafter” is the title of the Special written by Altamirando Carneiro, from Sao Paulo (SP). In the article, he reproduces the interview given to him by Humberto de Campos Filho, son of the remarkable writer, in May 1997, a year before his disembodiment, which occurred in 1998. Humberto de Campos, father, was born in Miritiba in the state of Maranhao, disincarnated in December 5, 1934 and has been since 1937, as a Spirit, one of the most important Spiritist authors.

A large audience – of approximately 3,500 people - attended the conference that Divaldo Franco gave according to the schedule of the 67th Spiritist Week, in the City of Santos, an event promoted by Santos Inter-Municipal USE. On the occasion the speaker was graced by the audience who - in the chapel - sang the song “How Great is My Love for You” (Como é Grande o Meu Amor por Você), trying to express like this all the affection and gratitude for his tireless work and examples. Djair de Souza Ribeiro, in a special report, tells us how it all happened.
