Letter to the reader

Year 11 - 557 - March 4, 2018

The poet and writer Mário Frigéri speaks to the magazine

"The wisdom of being content with little" is the theme of our editorial, which mentions Lacordaire's lesson on the impermanence and transience of life.

Spirit since the age of 15, Mário Frigéri, now living in Campinas (SP), is our interviewee. Poet, writer, researcher, with several books published and lawyer, he tells us in the interview about the Gospel, focusing in particular on the Sermon on the Mountain, one of the themes of the Spirit Yearbook 2018.

"Women and current dilemmas" is the title of the Especial written by our collaborator Anselmo Ferreira Vasconcelos. In the article he says that the widespread state of discontent that marks this beginning of the millennium applies equally to the delicate issue of gender, the subject of his study which is in itself explosive.

The tireless speaker Divaldo Franco was on February 16 in Uberlândia, (MG), where he held a seminar at the Convention Centre for an audience of 3,500 people. Our collaborator Djair de Souza Ribeiro tells us how the event was.
